We arrived around 11:30am and were greeted and seated immediately and our server arrived at our table shortly after. I decided on soup and salad bar, my husband ordered the gyro and fries. The salad bar offers both iceberg and leaf lettuce along with a good selection of toppings and other items. They offer two soups. I tried both which were vegetable and clam chowder. All of our selections were excellent. My husband said it was the best gyro he has ever had. We also decided we couldn’t pass up the desserts as they offer a large variety of made in house sweets. The desserts did not disappoint. Our server was friendly and very attentive. We plan on going back soon for dinner. Highly recommend!

It is historic. It is the oldest restaurant on US Route 66 in the state of Illinois. It has a classic feel. You can get comfort food here. You can get gourmet food here. You absolutely must get the desserts! They are friendly and warm and attentive. Parking is easy. We were impressed and will definitely be back. We loved our server.
